Is one of your family members in this photo? Nineteen and a half men and a tractor

A WAGS member from Cunderdin needs some help to identify the group of men in this small photograph found in her family’s collection. (Click to zoom)

The family has been told they are possibly members of a Roads Board somewhere in rural Western Australia, perhaps in the Goldfields or towns of Cunderdin, Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie or Day Dawn but the location is unknown.

Their suits, ties and hairstyles are reminiscent of the 1940s and several have a pin in the lapel of their suitcoat which might indicate they are RSL members.

But… the lapel pin could also be the insignia of another organisation.

Perhaps the men are not familiar but you may recognise the building behind them and/or the tractor?

Unfortunately we don't have a high resolution image so the fine detail is not readily evident.
